Variety Children’s Charity of BC

The Variety Children’s Charity of British Columbia is a non-profit charitable organization with a mission to raise funds for the purpose of inspiring hope, enriching lives, and building a better future for BC’s children. A member of the worldwide organization Variety International, the BC (office) works year round to improve the quality of life for British Columbia’s children. Since 1965, Variety – The Children’s Charity of BC has raised and disbursed more than $120 million for this very purpose.

Safeway Mobility Grants

Muscular Dystrophy Canada has teamed up with Canada Safeway to raise much needed funds to support those living with neuromuscular disorders. The Safeway Mobility Grants were created to assist registered clients with the purchase of new medically necessary mobility related equipment; in order to be eligible to receive funding, you must be a registered client of Muscular Dystrophy Canada.

Technology@Work

The purpose of this program is to support employment for People with disabilities who require assistive technology. More specifically it is designed to help the individual and the employer acquire assistive technology that meets the needs of the individual and the work situation.  They are looking to provide funding to serve 400-500 clients per year.  Click here for more info: Technology@work
